ADP Manager, Internal Communications in Roseland, New Jersey

ADP is hiring a Manager, Internal Communications. Reporting to the VP, Internal Communications, this role will manage the content, processes and deadlines that support enterprise-wide internal communications. In this role, you will develop content that informs, engages and inspires our associates to ensure they have the information they need to be successful in their roles.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Builds animation, motion graphics and videos to promote and share a variety of impactful associate communications, including portal stories, announcements, blogs, innovation updates, success stories and fun campaigns with our associates.

  • Continually learns and adopts best practices; staying abreast of current communications techniques and tools.

  • Uses project management skills to oversee the internal communications content calendar to ensure communications deadlines are met. Proactively works with the team and stakeholders across the enterprise to handle communications requests.

  • Creates videos, animations, digital visuals and motion graphics using Adobe Creative Suite, Vyond and other creative suites, plus deliverables in ADPworks (SharePoint), PowerPoint or Word to enhance the impact of our internal communications.

  • Track and measure communication deliverables and campaigns.

  • Ensure all work is approved and reviewed for financial, legal, grammatical and technical accuracy before distributing it.

  • Report accurate data that is critical to the development of future communications.

  • Develop compelling and engaging videos that enhance written narratives and overall communications campaigns.

  • Create graphics that align with brand standards and drive the visual impact of internal communications.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • A bachelor's degree in English, communications, journalism, marketing, or a related field is preferred or not required.

  • 3+ years of communications, graphic design, journalism, marketing or video experience.

  • Creative storyteller, editor, and writer with skills across mediums, including video, email, slide creation and visual design.

  • Expert in animation, graphic design, motion graphics and video applications (Adobe Creative Suite: Photoshop, Illustrator, In Design, Vyond, etc.) and experience with online content management and publishing systems.

  • Team player who proactively supports the Internal Communications team and incorporates feedback quickly.

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, sharp attention to detail and a high bar for quality content are needed.

  • Experience influencing organizations through communications, from audience and stakeholder analysis through approvals, implementation and success metrics tracking.

  • Strong project management skills.

Preference will be given to candidates who have the following:

  • At least 5 years editing, developing and designing videos and motion graphics.

  • Specialized training in graphical interface design and the user experience.

  • Demonstrated competency in the following: Adobe Creative Suite, Adobe After Effects, Vyond, HTML, DHTML, ASP (VBScript) and/or ASP.NET, JavaScript, Photoshop, Dreamweaver, Flash, FTP clients, WebTrendsLive (or similar technology), SQL Server, and Visio.

  • Highly PC or MAC literate in both hardware and software.

  • Good oral and written communication skills.

  • Proficient in MS Office, especially Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.

  • Ability to meet deadlines, and to work under pressure of time constraints.

  • Ability to gather and analyze metrics to present recommendations.

  • Strong project management skills.

  • Ability to independently learn new software programs and use of new hardware.

  • Good interpersonal skills in working with others; must be able to lead a team.

  • Ability to accept feedback and willingness to implement changes as requested.
