Your role as a Quality Technician I will allow you to serve staff and leaders and help provide creative solutions to drive CPC's short- and long-term goals. The Quality Technician I is responsible for the support of all released product Quality functions at CPC. This position will Lead or participate in activities to improve the quality of product / service.The Quality Technician will partner with a Quality Engineer to lead and manage product non-conformances, environmental monitoring activities, and continuous improvement efforts. This is a key, high-visibility role that will drive efficiency in the Quality team and improve customer satisfaction with our products. Job Responsibilities Respond quickly and efficiently to production concerns / nonconformances, drive initial testing/evaluation, and coordinate communication with the Quality Engineer to key stakeholders. Provides direct technical responses to operations. Perform product testing and root cause investigation to understand product performance deficiencies. Implement corrective actions to address product or service deficiencies. Works with Quality Engineers to ensure robust investigations and corrective actions. Operates within CPC Quality and inventory management systems. Performs routine review of quality processes to identify opportunities for improvement. Active participant and collaborator in Continuous Improvement and Lean projects. Keeps current in the field with internal and external education and training. Acts as QA liaison in cross-functional projects and CPC representative to suppliers/customers. Leads or facilitates presentation of daily & weekly quality metrics to key stakeholders. Adheres to all safety regulations. Demonstrates support of CPC core values. Performs other job duties as assigned to meet business needs. Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent. 4+ years of experience in a regulated environment. Good technical communication skills with multiple engineering disciplines. Self-driven and able to work with limited supervision. Excellent communication, collaboration, and teamwork skills. Ability to self-prioritize and multitask in support of engineering/manufacturing projects. Working knowledge of MS Office; Word, Excel, & Power Point Preferred Qualifications Two-year degree or certification in a technical discipline. Experience with metal machining and/or plastic injection molding processes. Experience with medical device and/or pharmaceutical manufacturing facilities. ERP software experience. ASQ participation and certification. Detailed knowledge of CPC parts or equivalent. Travel Requirements: Up to 10% Physical Demands: Must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision. While performing the duties of this job, sitting is regularly required; use of hands and fingers, and talk or hear. R aching is frequently required with hands and arms. Occasionally required to stand, walk, and/or stoop. Work Environment: The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
