Role Profile

The Manager, IBP E2E is a pivotal role within IBP COE and the primary focus is to enable IBP maturity evolution across Eastman. This goal is achieved by working with all Eastman COE’s and business partners to capitalize on IBP best practices, identify business challenges and opportunities, propose options and collaborate with teams, leveraging IBP elements such as OMP functionality, BI reporting and data, strategic capacity utilization, inventory and scenario planning.

Responsibilities

Oversee Technology (OMP, SAP, Power BI, other), Process and People Development to enable Eastman’s IBP maturity evolution:

  • Technology: Lead OMP incident, enhancement and future upgrade initiatives, ensure E2E Power BI oversight and delivery against established commits

  • Process: Partner to deploy change management/ coaching programs to help business teams continuously improve in IBP maturity

  • People: Identify and action training and overall capability build opportunities within the IBP CoE and business teams

    Build strong partnerships across all businesses and impacted functions to provide process oversight and governance for IBP & related processes to deliver short- and long-term business results:

  • Effective stakeholder management with Finance, Manufacturing, Product Management, Supply Chain, IT and Commercial teams

  • Understand complexity/operating model for businesses and advise on best practices to enhance process maturity

    Enable IBP to be a powerful, decision-making processes, by:

  • Assuming MBR product ownership

  • Leading E2E continuous improvement roadmap to improve maturity across IBP competencies

  • Reducing complexity and improving efficiency: build long term capability of using data insights to improve statistical models & forecasts

  • Develop strong E2E scenario development capability

  • Deliver monthly scorecard (IBP adoption metrics & IBP management dashboard owner)

Required Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university is required (Supply Chain, Data Science or Engineering is preferred)

  • Masters Degree (MBA, Supply Chain) preferred

  • 5+ years experience in demand and/or supply planning in the Chemicals industry required

  • End-to-end Supply Chain working knowledge and experience

  • Experience working with planning systems (OMP and SAP required)

  • APICS/ASCM CPIM or CSCP Certification (preferred)
