We are looking for our new Inside Sales Engineer colleague in Rotterdam to join our Inside Sales organisation for Danfoss Power Electronics and Drives with offices in Rotterdam, Gorinchem and Groot-Bijgaarden. You will become part of a diverse, enthusiastic and skilled team.

Job Responsibilities

• You are the first point of contact and advisor for technical questions for our customers and your key account colleagues

• Prepare and follow up on complex quotations, follow up on projects and spot and report trends in the market

• Participation in trade fairs, seminars and workshops

• You will alternate between working independently and working together with your diverse and experienced team of Technical Support colleagues

• In addition, you will independently contribute to the expansion and development of your application knowledge

Background & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical/mechanical engineering or similar level acquired through work experience

• 1 to 2 years of relevant work experience in a (commercial) technical function, if you are a recent engineering graduate, we are also interested and open to receive your application

• Proactive attitude and customer focused orientation

• Good interpersonal skills and not afraid to take initiative in an international work environment

• Familiar with Microsoft Office, preferably also with Salesforce and SAP

• Good fluent language skills for the Dutch and English language
