Position Summary:
As a nurse, you will provide patient care using the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Addressing the patient's and family's physical, psychosocial, and religious/cultural needs is crucial. Effective communication with the healthcare team about changes in patient conditions is essential.
Minimum Requirements:
*Performs basic nursing skills. *
· Provides personal care activities for patients or residents.
· Take directives from the Registered or Licensed Practical Nurses
· Practices within the nursing assistant's scope and according
· Adhere to Person Memorial Hospital policies, procedures, and standards.
· Reports to the Department Director
Minimum Qualifications:
· High School Diploma or Equivalent
· Six months of C.N.A experience without a High School Diploma
· Monitor Technician experience required
· Licensed Certified Nursing Assistant, and Listed with Division of Facility Services
· American Heart Association (BLS)
· Intermediate experience with Microsoft Office, email, and PowerPoint**
· Excellent verbal, written, and intrapersonal communication.
· Ability to work with the Geriatric population.
