As a Technical Support Specialist at Epredia, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless operation of our anatomical pathology products worldwide. You will be the frontline support for our field service engineers, providing expert technical assistance remotely and occasionally on-site. This position offers the opportunity to become a product expert, advance your career, and thrive in a collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshoot technical issues for a global customer base via telephone, email, and on-site visits.

  • Create and distribute technical updates to clients, keeping them informed about process changes, software updates, and new product lines.

  • Deliver comprehensive technical training to field service engineers and internal teams, either at our Runcorn site or remotely.

  • Collaborate with Engineering and Quality departments to provide valuable client feedback on instrument performance.

  • Partner with the Epredia Product Development team, offering service and technical input to enhance product design for improved serviceability.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • HNC/Degree in Mechanical/Electronic Engineering preferred.

  • Previous experience in technical support or field/depot repair of instrumentation is advantageous.

  • Familiarity with working in a shop floor environment is essential.

  • Strong customer service focus, ensuring clients receive superior support throughout their journey with Epredia.

  • Proven experience in developing and delivering technical training to diverse audiences.

  • Ability to adapt quickly to shifting priorities and prioritize workloads to meet urgent customer needs.

  • Methodical approach to preparing technical reports, bulletins, and other documentation.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook and Excel.

  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills, with a logical and systematic approach.

  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
