Job Description and Duties

The California Energy Commission (CEC) seeks an exceptional individual to join the commissioners’ administrative support teams and assist with clerical and secretarial duties, including reviewing and screening correspondence; tracking assignments with an electronic log; independently preparing and tracking assignments sent to the California Natural Resources Agency and the Governor's Office; preparing materials (correspondence, confidential communications, reports, timesheets) for signature; scheduling conference calls and meetings, including reserving meeting rooms and sending calendar appointments (Outlook) to participants; arranging travel (Concur software) and preparing itineraries and travel expense claims (CalATERS); and duties consistent with the classification. This position receives lead direction from the commissioners’ administrative assistants and reports directly to the deputy executive director.
