Aerotek Electrical Maintenance Technician in Saint Charles, Missouri

Job Title: Industrial Electrician

Job Description

As an Industrial Electrician, you will play a crucial role in supporting production packaging and processing operations, including sanitation, and actively participating in the startup, changeover, and shutdown of operating equipment. Your responsibilities will include installing, maintaining, diagnosing, troubleshooting, and correcting electrical systems. This encompasses equipment, components, and controls, ensuring all installations and operations comply with safety standards and electrical codes. You will work in a dynamic environment that operates 24/7, with a schedule of 12-hour shifts, rotating between 4 days on and 4 days off, alternating between 48-hour and 36-hour work weeks. Additionally, you will troubleshoot and repair automated equipment and control systems, and ensure the safe operation of the plant's control systems.

Hard Skills

  • Installation and maintenance of electrical systems

  • Troubleshooting and repairing automated equipment and control systems

  • Inspection and testing of electrical systems components

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Saint Charles, Missouri.

Work Environment

The plant operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Candidates must be able to work up to 48 hours a week, with 12-hour shifts from 6pm to 6:30am, and be flexible to work in a rotating shift pattern of 4 days on and 4 days off. The environment is fast-paced and requires commitment to safety and quality.
