The Manager IT-Sys Admin is responsible for effectively creating, communicating, and coordinating tactical direction and implementation of IT Sys Admin operations in support of key initiatives and the IT strategy. The Manager IT Sys Admin will manage steady state operations as well as the design, build and implementation of IT systems. Collaborates with key business partners, internal technology teams and external vendors to build processes and leverage technology to enable digital innovation. Manager IT Sys Admin remains knowledgeable about IT Standards, cybersecurity requirements, regulatory, and legal standards that may impact IT. The Manager IT Sys Admin will establish key performance indicators and measure operational performance to measure and report on operational effectiveness. The Manager IT-Sys Admin will be responsible for building a high performing team, fostering an open, diverse and empowered culture to ensure alignment to the culture prioritizing patient care.

Specifically, the Manager IT Sys Admin will be responsible for designing, building, and running the IT infrastructure environment including both on-perm and cloud based IT systems.

Candidates must have strong experience in VMware, Nutanix, AWS and O365 (VMware and Nutanix are the most important and must haves).

Knowledge of network infrastructure, wireless networks, Active Directory, firewall and VPN applications (applicable Microsoft network admin certifications: MCSA or MCSE)

• Demonstrate strong analytical, problem solving, delegation and leadership skills.

• Must demonstrate good organizational and communication skills in areas of procedure setting and customer service.

• Strong negotiation and consulting skills- Demonstrate strong teamwork, interpersonal, communications, and writing skills. Ability to understand the business model, processes and strategy, thus positioning the various teams to effectively apply technologies that clearly add value to the organization. Ability to interact \ with all levels of staffing from a planning or support perspective.

• Must have strong decision making and time management skills.

• Must be able to monitor and drive teams to perform at high levels resulting in maximum client satisfaction.

Must have both technical skills and leadership skills.
