Lang Food Systems LLC headquartered at 14901 Rutland Circle, Chesterfield, MO 63017 phone number: +1 (314) 695-7755, is looking to fill four (4) Cook positions from 04/01/2025 to 12/31/2025. This is for full-time, peak-load temporary employment. Duties include, as a cook, the worker will prepare and cook food in a fast-food restaurant with a limited menu that includes wraps, wings, and sandwiches. The worker will work with a deep fryer and flat-top grill to prepare and cook wings and sandwiches and will use various kitchen utensils such as knives, spoons, tongs, and spatulas. The worker will also wash and prepare vegetables for food. The worker will read food order slips or receive verbal instructions from the manager or customer and prepare and cook food according to instructions. The worker will clean food preparation areas, kitchen areas, cooking surfaces, and utensils. The worker will also pre-cook food to use as samples. The worker will also take out leftovers and waste to the trash receptacle. One (1) month of training will be provided. The worker must be able to use their hands and be on their feet for the entire duration of each shift.

The pay is $14.43 per hour with overtime available at $21.65 per hour, based on hourly rate. The schedule is 40 hours per week from 12:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m., Wednesday to Sunday. Returning workers and workers with experience may be paid higher wage rates. Job opportunity is a temporary, full-time position. Daily travel to worksites in the area of intended employment is required. The requested temporary workers will be based at 166 West County Center, Des Peres, MO 63131 and will service clients within the St. Louis, MO-IL, including Saint Louis County. Employer provides transportation to and from all worksites.

Single workweek will be used in computing wages due. Pay period is Weekly. Employer will assist with finding housing, will assist with initial housing deposits and fees, and will deduct from paycheck via payroll deduction, if needed by the worker. Employer will make all deductions required by law. Transportation, including meals and, to the extent necessary, lodging, to the place of employment will be provided, or its cost to workers reimbursed by a company check, separate from the payroll check, if the worker completes half of the employment period. If the worker completes 50% of the work contract period, employer will arrange and pay directly for transportation and subsistence from the place of recruitment to the place of work. Upon completion of the work contract or where the worker is dismissed earlier, employer will provide or pay for worker's reasonable costs of return transportation and subsistence back to home or to the place the worker originally departed to work, except where the worker will not return due to subsequent employment with another employer. The amount of transportation payment or reimbursement will be equal to the most economically and reasonable common carrier for the distance involved. Daily subsistence will be provided at a rate of $15.88 per day during travel to a maximum of $59.00 per day with receipts. Reimbursement in the first work week for all visa, visa processing, border crossing, and other related fees, including those mandated by the government, incurred by the H-2B worker (but not included passport expenses or other charges primarily for the benefit of the worker). The employer will provide worker, at no charge, all tools, supplies, and equipment required to perform the job and on the job training in the proper use of tools and equipment. The employer guarantees to offer work for hours equal to at least three-fourths of the workdays in each 12-week period only to the extent that this guarantee is enforced by the Department of Labor. As of the date of this posting, the three-fourths guarantee is not enforced.
