What we’re looking for: Our St. Louis, Missouri office is seeking to hire an investigator to support our team by interviewing clients, drafting documents, and other duties. We are looking for energetic, driven, detail-oriented people for this on-site position.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

· Interviewing clients about their work history and exposure to asbestos;

· Locate and interview witnesses;

· Research clients’ work history and work sites to determine product and exposure and how they correlate to the work function;

· Extensive research and drafting affidavits;

· Attend and perform document reviews to identify relevant and useful documents;

· Frequent travel to clients’ homes.

Requirements

• Possess a minimum of 3 years of experience as a Paralegal - Investigator or in a similar role

• Proficient in conducting various types of investigations such as Fraud Investigation, Special Investigations, and Incident Investigations

• Ability to prepare detailed and accurate investigation reports

• Expertise in conducting legal research to support investigations

• Proficient in gathering and analyzing witness testimony

• Strong attention to detail in preparing detailed reports

• Ability to conduct and manage multiple investigations simultaneously

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

• Bachelor's degree in Law, Criminal Justice, or related field is preferred

• Must have a strong ethical standard and integrity.

Skills desired:

· Ability to work under pressure due to time and content sensitive deadlines;

· Strong computer skills;

· Experience with legal research and interview skills and techniques is preferred;

· Must be able to work independently and as part of a team to establish and foster working relationships with attorneys, investigators, paralegals, and legal assistants;

· Detail oriented with the ability to analyze and problem solve;

· Ability to put clients at ease and establish a trusting and comfortable relationship.
