Description We are seeking a Payroll Specialist for our operations in the construction/contractor industry based in SAINT LOUIS, Missouri. The Payroll Specialist will manage a variety of payroll processes, from processing new staff paperwork to assisting with payroll audits. This role also involves managing payroll-related communication and producing regular reports.

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of payroll processes, including new staff and termination paperwork.

• Handle weekly processing of time entries from multiple systems.

• Oversee payroll-related communication and provide responses to inquiries in a timely manner.

• Assist with the preparation of certified payroll and compliance with IRA audits.

• Generate regular reports such as Paid Time Off (PTO) balances, total man-hours, and others.

• Respond to verification of employment requests as they are received.

• Review regular reports for updates to payroll processing.

• Compile and deliver certified payroll reports as required for specific jobs. Requirements • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is mandatory.

• Experience with ADP - Financial Services is required.

• Familiarity with ADP Workforce Now is paramount.

• Prior experience with Ceridian is desirable.

• Knowledge of Dayforce is a significant plus.

• Expertise in 401k - RRSP Administration is important.

• Familiarity with About Time software will be beneficial.

• Proficiency in various Accounting Functions is crucial.

• Prior experience in Auditing is highly desirable.

• Knowledge of Benefit Functions is essential.
