Edward Jones Agency (EJA) - the firm's in-house agency - is a high-energy and highly regarded full-service group in pursuit of helping make Edward Jones famous. This Team Leader role sits within Agency Operations, the department responsible for project management and running the business of the EJA.

What you'll do...

  • Lead through others to strategically plan and deliver campaigns, programs and projects that align to our business, brand and creative strategies.

  • Provide thought leadership and recommendations to senior leaders and teams about strategies that build maturity of project management discipline and ultimately drive efficient execution to meet business goals.

  • Effectively build relationships with business partners and leadership to develop, align, execute and measure work, often with competing priorities.

  • Enable alignment of strategies and priorities across teams.

  • Lead and influence change management processes across teams, department and area

  • Establish internal and external resourcing strategies, set priorities, identify action steps and develop team processes for achieving individual, team and project objectives consistently and efficiently.

  • Collaborate and partner with teams across disciplines, as well as external agencies, to advance the strength of the brand

  • Develop a high performing team by setting clear expectations, providing timely coaching and feedback, conducting performance reviews, guiding professional development, and mentoring potential successors.

The salary range for this role is based on national data and actual pay is based on skills, experience, education, and other relevant factors for a potential new associate:

Hiring Minimum: $96471

Hiring Maximum: $164262

Skills/Requirements

What you'll need...

  • B.S./B.A. in Marketing, Advertising, Project Management, Business, or related field;

  • 10+ years of experience in marketing or related field, including a minimum 5 years project management experience in a creative, communications, marketing or agency environment.

  • Financial services industry or other regulated industry experience preferred.

  • Expert-level applied knowledge of project management best practices, processes, tools and methodologies, including waterfall and agile.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Intellectually curious.

  • Ability to serve as a senior consultant to leaders and business partners regarding planning, strategic program development and delivery..

  • Results-oriented leader who can develop and convey program strategies, and simultaneously deliver solutions through practical, disciplined execution in a large, complex organization.

  • Must be flexible and adept at exploring different paths to achieve an outcome and adjust quickly to new circumstances.

What will set you apart...

  • Expertise with Adobe Workfront strongly preferred, or other project management technologies such as Jira, Confluence, Trello or similar is required. Proficiency in other tools including Microsoft Office Suite and Zoom.

  • M.S./M.A./MBA is a plus.

  • PMP or equivalent certification preferred.

Candidates that live within in a commutable distance from our Tempe, AZ and St. Louis, MO home office locations are expected to work in the office three days per week, with preference for Tuesday through Thursday.
