We are seeking a dependable warehouse associate (stocker-crater-packer) to pick and prepare products for shipment, load/unload materials and maintain the stockroom on 2nd shift (3:00pm - 11:00pm EST). Parker Hannifin offers competitive pay ($21.01 - $23.411/hour for this position, plus a shift premium as applicable) and comprehensive benefits including, but not limited to: day one eligibility for medical, dental, vision, life insurance, 401k/retirement planning benefits, a temperature-controlled facility, and quarterly profit sharing bonus'.

Essential Functions:

  • Perform the required duties in accordance safety guidelines and lean principles by complying with all safety procedures and all company policies.

  • Makes crates, skids, boxes, and prepares products for shipment.

  • Assists in loading, unloading and moving materials using various types of powered industrial vehicles and crane systems.

  • Checks and identifies received and shipped goods against a packing list and/or purchase order.

  • Assists in maintaining stockroom, picking parts and distributing stock.

  • Manages paperwork flow and picking system.

  • Ensures all materials are labeled, packaged, and shipped in accordance with guidelines.

  • Uses systems to complete various types of paperwork related to shipping/receiving product, inspections and production reporting.

  • Verifies product / quantity and ensures raw parts and materials are stored safely in the proper location.

  • Understand and facilitate Kanban inventory system accuracy.

  • Maintains work areas by cleaning and organizing the space and equipment.

  • Actively participates in company-sponsored training programs.

  • Completes additional duties and projects as assigned, which may include assisting in other areas of operations.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or G.E.D.

  • Previous manufacturing experience preferred.

  • Previous forklift and over-head crane experience preferred.

  • Basic math and computer skills required.

  • Must be able to read tape measure and other measuring devices.

  • Ability to multitask and organize work/priorities.

  • Ability to follow verbal and written instructions to complete tasks that may be repetitive.

  • Must demonstrate effective verbal and written communication skills.

  • Ability to work effectively with others and be a participative team player.

Physical Demands/Work Environment:

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to hear and speak. The employee must regularly stand, walk, sit and use hands to grasp and handle. Employee will occasionally be required to kneel, squat and bend at the waist. The employee is occasionally required to lift up to 40 lbs. Specific vision requirements include close vision, ability to focus, and depth perception. This position may be exposed to oils, dirt, fumes and moving equipment. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
