GENERAL SUMMARY:

Responsible for Assembly functions including insulating, plumbing, painting and other mechanical assembly. All performed activities are to be done ensuring they correspond with company goals and objectives.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

Duties / Activities include (but are not limited to):

• Insulation
  • Brick (Measure, Cut, Install)
  • Fiber Insulation (Measure, Cut, Install)
• Plumbing
  • Water Lines (Bend, Cut, Solder, Install Copper tubing)
  • Atmosphere Lines (Bend, Cut, Install Steel / Stainless Steel tubing)
  • Combustion Lines (Bend, Cut, Weld, Install black piping)
  • Gas Lines (Bend, Cut, Weld, Install black piping)
• Painting
  • Paint Prep (disassemble, tape off, clean)
  • Paint
  • Post Paint (remove tape, reassemble, prepare for shipment)
• Mechanical Assembly general Industrial Furnace Assembly
• Perform all duties and activities in a safe and efficient manner.
• Communicates departmental information to Finishing Supervisor on a daily basis or as needed.
• Perform duties and activities under the instruction of the Finishing Supervisor.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

• Ability to read blueprints
• Ability to work with tools (handheld, pneumatic, etc.)
• Communication written and verbal
• Ability to follow instructions
• Ability to perform all essential functions of the job

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:High School Diploma or GED preferred, but not required if some level of experience is shown. Welding experience is a plus but not required.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Lifting a maximum of 50 pounds. This job requires extensive amounts of walking, standing, sitting, squatting, and else required to perform the job.
