Main Duties and Responsibilities: * Supervise program staff to ensure effective services to clients. * Provide clinical consultation and Rule 79 supervision to both individual and group, guidance with the case coordination process and assessment of appropriate levels of care and services needed. * Assist direct service staff with assessing and managing client risk and consultation regarding crisis situations as needed. * Review diagnostic assessments, functional assessments, ICSP/IFCSP s, ITP s and progress notes to ensure quality of client care and compliance with regulatory standards. * Provide ongoing coaching, training, support, mentoring and supervision in an atmosphere for open communication to ensure case managers and team leaders understand their roles and performance expectations. * Review and evaluate the performance of case managers and team leader in accordance with MHR policy and procedures. * Identify and address training needs of direct service and supervisory staff with regard to crisis intervention, compliance and regulatory standards, documentation standards, best practices, and other clinical topics; develop and conduct training as needed. * Be responsive to stakeholders concerns when quality of care is compromised by direct staff or agency practices. * Provide administrative and clinical management to other programs as assigned. * Promote, support, and advance the Agency s commitment to diversity. * Participate in the development of the strategic plan, annual program budgets, plan of work, and developing and revising forms and procedures. * Promote teamwork, agency goals, norms of best practice in clinical supervision across programs and provide education on program services to referral resources. * Work with agency, county, and state entities to understand existing mandates and respond to new mandates to include developing and implementing plans to train staff and integrate Evidence-Based Practices. * Complete requested reports or analyses in a ti ely manner. * Work collaboratively with external providers and agencies as appropriate. * Assist with the overseeing of the completion of assigned reports and data collection. * Ensure that client records are kept in accordance with agency standards and data privacy requirements and maintain accurate records that document supervision of staff in accordance with MHR policies and State law. Minimum Education and Experience: * Master s degree in human services and three years of experience in related positions; OR a combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge. * Licensed as a mental health professional in the State of Minnesota. * Previous work with children's mental health.
