About The Job

A unique opportunity to join a rapidly growing best-in-class team to engineer groundbreaking Oracle Cloud technologies and infrastructure that make up the Oracle Cloud solutions. As part of the Program Management team, you will be continually challenged and have an opportunity to chip in to the Oracle Cloud success every day, working closely with the development partners.

As a Program Manager, you will take large, complex projects and break them down into manageable pieces while identifying process gaps and working to drive closure. You will collaboration with management and department leaders, performing an array of business operations functions from leading project deliverables, generating communications and presentations, and planning and coordinating meetings. You will drive program schedules from design to launch, communicate to partners and senior leaders, all while gaining a deep understanding of OCI processes and teams to be able to drive the direction of the cross-functional/cross-service projects.

The ideal candidate is a technical program manager with very strong hands-on project management skills and 10+ years of diverse experience running the delivery of both software and infrastructure projects. All these qualities bundled up in an affable communicator in order to make our Oracle Cloud customers successful.

What You'll Do

  • Project Integration You will develop, lead, and deliver on multiple projects simultaneously against bold schedules

  • Scope Management As a Program Manager, you will take large, complex projects and break them down into manageable pieces. You will drive issues, track tasks, and evaluate priorities on a daily basis.

  • Quality You will identify process gaps and drive closure to improve current processes and coordinate organizational procedures for optimized efficiency and productivity.

  • Communication As a Program Manager, you will develop and own communication plans to effectively and proactively communicate program status from design to launch, issues, and risks to stakeholders and senior and executive management.

  • Risk Management You will lead cross functional dependencies, risks and changes efficiently by optimizing scope, schedule, and resources accordingly. As you gain a deep understanding of OCI processes and teams, you will develop the ability to anticipate, identify and mitigate risk with key partners & impacted teams providing risk mitigations recommendations when needed.

  • Collaboration You will collaborate with management and department leaders, performing an array of business operations functions from running project deliverables, generating communications and presentations, and planning and coordinating meetings while driving cross-team and cross-functional activities.

Responsibilities

Our team works within the Health Data Intelligence with a core focus on cloud operations. We are responsible for building and maintaining the cloud computing services and solutions that help us operate with greater efficiency, security, and attention to detail. As a member of the team, you will be surrounded by forward-thinking and innovative minds thriving in a collaborative environment supporting infrastructure and applications. We empower our team to make advancements to be more efficient and productive in their day-to-day operations leading to the delivery of superior external customer product availability and support experience. A Program Manager plays a significant role in aligning priorities from various service teams, collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders, and driving end-to-end execution of sophisticated projects. Understanding various cloud technologies and technical trade-offs, the ideal candidate will be an extraordinarily strong communicator, both written and verbally, have a well-rounded technical background, and come with a history of leading large-scale projects end-to-end.

Basic Qualifications :

  • Knowledge of DevOps toolchain

  • Broad understanding of cloud infrastructures

  • Previous experience or understanding of cloud technologies, engineering, software, and systems development lifecycles, a strong background in Program Management

  • Experience developing or leading engineering or product portfolio planning and tracking processes and cadences

  • Proven track record to operate optimally and autonomously across multiple teams in situations of acute ambiguity, with only high level direction, and demonstrate critical thinking, thought leadership

  • A natural problem-solver and strategic thinker who takes ownership

  • Ability to analyze project dependencies, relationships, drivers, and impacts across multiple project schedules, and make recommendations corrective actions

  • Ability to communicate highly technical problems and solutions at all levels from engineer to partner teams to executive leadership.

  • Most importantly, the aptitude to be a good team player and the willingness to learn and implement new Cloud technologies as needed

Required Qualifications:

  • U.S. Citizenship and eligibility for a Federal Security Clearance

  • 5+ years of technical program management experience relevant to this position

  • 5+ years in the IT industry

  • Ability to communicate optimally and establish rapport with team members

  • BS or MS in Computer Science, or equivalent

Range and benefit information provided in this posting are specific to the stated locations only

US: Hiring Range: from $87,800 to $199,500 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.

Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.

Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

  8. Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.

  10. Paid sick leave: 72 hours of paid sick leave upon date of hire. Refreshes each calendar year. Unused balance will carry over each year up to a maximum cap of 112 hours.
