The Utah Smart Energy Laboratory (U-Smart) at the University of Utah is seeking a proactive and organized individual to join our team dedicated to designing resilient and sustainable power and energy systems.Job Description:The Academic and Administrative Officer will play a crucial role in providing comprehensive support to the U-Smart Lab, overseeing administrative duties and assisting on educational programs in collaboration with academic faculty, industry partners, and government stakeholders. The position will coordinate initiatives to foster engagement between students, industry experts, and policymakers, as well as providing essential support for knowledge dissemination, interdisciplinary collaboration, and student engagement. Ideal candidates will excel in resource and time management and contribute to the success of our initiatives and programs. This position will be scheduling meetings for stakeholder engagement, handle communication with internal and external partners, prepare documents, support meetings, ensure confidentiality, collaborate with the team, solve problems, and contribute to continuous improvement efforts.At the University of Utah Price College of Engineering, we ask a lot of our employees, which is why we give so much in return.
