Ken Garff Automotive Group Accounting Clerk in Salt Lake City, Utah
Ken Garff Automotive Group is looking for a skilled Accounting Clerk to work in their Corporate Office in downtown Salt Lake City. This position will be responsible for processing all invoices received for payment and for undertaking the payment of all creditors in an accurate, efficient and timely manner.
Responsibilities
Process accounts, incoming invoices, expense reports, and outgoing payments in compliance with financial policies and procedures
Perform day to day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, computing, posting and recording accounts payable data
Reconcile the accounts payable ledger to ensure that all payments are accounted for and properly posted
Reconcile vendor statements
Verify discrepancies and resolve vendor payment issues
Generate financial statements and reports detailing accounts payable status
Requirements
Proven working experience as accounts payable clerk
Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting payable principles
High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
Proven ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures and financial records
Data entry skills along with a knack for numbers
Hands-on experience with spreadsheets and software (Workday Financial experience preferred)
Proficiency in English and in MS Office (specifically Excel)
Customer service orientation
Team player
High school graduate or equivalent
Associates degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration preferred
