Job Summary
Provides administrative support for Pioneer Theatre Company ( PTC ) and reports directly to the General Manager. Primarily performs a variety of clerical and financial duties for the PTC business office, including payment processing, deposits, reimbursements, HR management systems, purchasing card reallocation, and union contract administration. Provides additional support to PTC Company Management and PTC overall management.
Responsibilities
Job Functions
Supports the administrative tasks of the Business Office, such as but not limited to receivables, job hiring tasks, invoice preparation, purchase orders, and petty cash.
Orders, receives, and oversees business office inventory.
Provides general office support and equipment upkeep.
Assists Company Manager with travel, reconciliations, bookings, lodging issues, facilities, parking, and occasional clerical work.
Assists in providing the theatre with general IT support.
Other duties as assigned for the smooth operations of the theatre.

Minimum Qualifications
Associate degree in business or equivalent work experience (2 years related work experience may be substituted for 1 year of education). Demonstrated human relations and effective written and verbal communication skills required. Knowledge of basic bookkeeping practices.

Preferences
Candidate with University of Utah financial systems experience, e.g., payroll, EPR , EForms, UShop, purchasing card reallocation.
An interest and understanding of the professional theatre industry or performing arts is a plus.
