Oracle Consulting Senior Practice Director in Salt Lake City, Utah

Job Description

As the Healthcare Line of Business Leader you will play a pivotal role in Oracle Consulting’s transformation. You will be the ambassador for the top Oracle Consulting Services (OCS) accounts in the healthcare industry. Your primary focus will be to manage relationships, drive new business, and ensure the successful delivery of Oracle’s Cloud platform and OCS capabilities within the healthcare sector.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

Strategy & Leadership:

  • Develop and manage sales and healthcare Go-To-Market (GTM) strategies to drive new consulting pipelines and achieve booking targets.

  • Influence software sales deal outcomes as the implementation expert on joint pursuits.

  • Develop strong relationships with Oracle software sales executives to ensure overall account and territory strategy alignment.

  • Lead growth transformation in the healthcare consulting landscape, promoting Oracle’s cloud solutions tailored to healthcare needs.

Client Management:

  • Oversee healthcare clients' projects and portfolios and cultivate relationships to ensure the successful delivery of multiple projects.

  • Establish deep relationships with targeted healthcare clients, ensuring renewals and extensions through delighted customers.

  • Act as a trusted advisor, helping healthcare clients define strategic implementation roadmaps to realize the expected business outcomes using Oracle products.

Sales & Business Development:

  • Manage a Healthcare Client Partner team and oversee sales pursuits from opportunity to closure by qualifying leads, developing deal strategies and win themes, and directing pursuit teams.

  • Cultivate customers to become references, showcasing success in achieving their business outcomes.

  • Identify new business opportunities and develop proposals to drive sales of consulting services within the healthcare sector.

  • Develop strong partnerships with Oracle Sales, Oracle Partner Channels, Oracle Customer Success, Oracle Support, and Oracle product Development.

Project Delivery:

  • Manage a Healthcare delivery organization to ensure healthcare projects are implemented successfully and within the original deal construct.

  • Guide project vision/charter creation, implementation strategy, and leading practices specific to healthcare.

  • Maintain key financial metrics, including pipeline, forecast, bookings, and attach rates.

People Development:

  • Develop and coach team members to excel in their roles, achieving great outcomes for their careers, Oracle’s business, and clients.

  • Play an active role in recruiting, people development, and engagement programs.

Specific Responsibilities

Practice Success:

  • Develop and manage an Industry POV and strategic plans to drive bookings, revenue, margin, and client references and, ultimately, meet annual KPIs.

  • Elevate the healthcare industry through the Industry Community of Practice leadership to drive the development of thought leadership assets, industry-based solutions, and industry enablement.

  • Monitor and manage the performance of the healthcare portfolio of projects to measure success against targets and proactively identify project risk or customer satisfaction issues, taking corrective action as necessary.

  • Serve as executive sponsor on key healthcare projects in the portfolio, advising and guiding customers in project vision/charter creation, implementation strategy, controlling customizations, deployment best practices, and organizational change management.

  • Help healthcare customers define a strategic implementation roadmap that enables them to realize the value of their purchased Oracle products.

  • Cultivate healthcare customers to become references to measure our success in helping them achieve their targeted business outcomes.

  • Lead and manage the healthcare Client Partners and the healthcare delivery organization.

  • Work with the matrixed HCM and Financials pillar leaders to ensure successful delivery of Oracle Cloud applications.

  • Achieve individual utilization target (20%).

Deal Pursuits:

  • Influence customer executive management and partner senior management in accepting Oracle solutions and services to facilitate the closing of consulting deals.

  • Influence software sales deal outcomes by serving as the implementation expert on software & services joint pursuits.

  • Collaborate with the North America Applications Consulting (NAAC) sales team to identify new business opportunities, develop proposals, and deliver presentations to potential healthcare clients.

  • Guide software sales teams in selecting Industry Use Cases for demos on pursuits.

Business Development:

  • Leverage Healthcare industry knowledge and experience to improve the reputation of Oracle Consulting and open doors to new business opportunities.

  • Build relationships with key Oracle Industry leadership roles and external partners to identify new consulting opportunities and contribute to cross-functional programs and initiatives.

  • Build strong relationships with Oracle software sales executives (VPs and Regional Managers) and maintain a consistent cadence of touchpoints to ensure alignment on overall industry strategy.

  • Cultivate long-lasting client relationships with C-Suite, Line of Business, and IT Vice Presidents on accounts, acting as a trusted advisor.

  • Proven ability to create and implement effective GTM strategies, driving market expansion and revenue growth.

  • Demonstrated success in penetrating new markets and increasing market share through strategic GTM initiatives.

  • Contribute thought leadership-based publications and presentations at conferences and customer events.

Professional Development:

  • Stay current on industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies (AI/ML/RPA) to inform business strategy, offerings, sales, and delivery processes.

  • Build and maintain a network of key healthcare industry contacts.

Preferred Skills & Experience

  • At least 12 years of experience consulting experience, including five or more years of management consulting experience with P&L responsibility.

  • Proven expertise in enterprise software selling and implementation/delivery, including Cloud, focusing on healthcare solutions.

  • Experience driving growth transformations in the Healthcare industry and SaaS landscape.

  • Extensive experience in developing and executing Go-To-Market (GTM) strategies, resulting in significant revenue growth and market expansion in the healthcare sector.

  • Excellent communication and cross-functional teamwork skills.

  • Ability to develop and maintain relationships at the executive level.

  • Willingness to travel as needed.

Education

  • A bachelor’s degree is required. An advanced degree in a healthcare-related field is a plus.

  • Certified change management practitioner is a plus.

US: Hiring Range: from $154,800 to $338,600 per annum. May be eligible for bonus, equity, and compensation deferral.

Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.

Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.
