Intermountain Health Landscape Maintenance Specialist in Salt Lake City, Utah
Job Description:
This is an entry-level position in the Facilities Management department. The position’s work is focused on groundskeeping, and the caregiver may be assigned to work in a variety of areas of focus.
The Maintenance Worker II – Grounds may also have opportunities to learn general building maintenance skills in a healthcare setting.
This position will be doing Landscape duties as well as general maintenance work.
Essential Functions
Performs routine maintenance tasks such as changing light bulbs, fixing leaky faucets, and repairing damaged walls or floors.
Assists with the installation, repair, and maintenance of hospital equipment and systems.
Responds to emergency maintenance requests and providing immediate assistance to resolve the issue.

Qualifications
Willingness to work hard and to learn.
Some experience working in a healthcare setting is preferred.
Experience as a maintenance generalist or handyman is required.
A valid driver license may be required for this position.
Maintaining a clean and safe work environment by following established safety procedures and protocols.
The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Good communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to follow instructions.
Physical Requirements
Bending, lifting, stooping, crawling, laying, sitting, walking, climbing.
Use of hand and power tools, proper use of hearing and eye protection.
Exposure to extreme temperatures in nature, work in noisy or constricted spaces, exposure to odors and smells.

The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.
$22.83 - $34.74
