SALT LAKE COMMUNITY COLLEGE Specialist III, English as a Second Language (Part Time) in SALT LAKE CITY, Utah

This position is responsible for assisting the English as a Second Language (ESL) administration and students in ESL at Salt Lake Technical College. This position primarily works with administrative staff with clerical tasks such as data entry, filing, answering phones, projects and assists students by addressing questions and concerns regarding admission, registration, tuition payments, grades, appeals and providing back-up for student phone calls and walk-ins.

  • Assist with clerical tasks such as: data entry, filing, answering phones, and completing forms.
  • Collaborate with staff on projects, using Microsoft Office Suite, and SLCC web programs.
  • Answer student/potential student questions about the courses and program.
  • Foster a respectful and inclusive environment for all students, faculty, and staff
  • Be open to taking on other duties as assigned by the ESL administration as needed.
