What you will do:

The Credit Risk Supervisor is a key member of the Accounts Receivable team who will report directly to the Manager, Credit Risk, and is responsible for helping to lead the Credit Risk team. This position will act as an escalation point for high priority issues. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of providing excellent customer service to internal and external customers. This role will be a senior member of the team that has had previous experience in leading teams.

Essential duties & responsibilities:

  • Responsible for managing the performance of the team in terms of credit risk.

  • Engage and supervise the credit risk team under their scope.

  • Play a key role in the work migration activities from other Stryker locations, including knowledge transfer and documentation activities.

  • Perform all activities related analysis, development and setting of credit limits for customers and overall management of credit risk, managing and recommending allowances for doubtful accounts, performing analysis and financial review of high-risk strategic customers and providing risk reporting.

  • Responsible for the annual review processes and build employee engagement.

  • Act as a key point of contact within the credit risk review and credit assignment processes for external customers.

  • Partner with customer facing teams, building strong relationships with both internal and external customers.

  • Coordinate with other team leads to ensure strong working relationships and well-defined handoffs between teams.

  • Contribute to accurate customer master data elements.

  • Provide regular updates to SSC management of KPI’s, analysis and trends.

  • Work with Internal and external audit teams to review and enforce policies.

Education & special trainings:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or related field

  • MS Office Suite

  • Fluent spoken and written English. Portuguese language is a plus

  • Oracle and SAP systems knowledge is a big plus

Qualifications & experience:

  • 6-8 years of relevant working experience in a finance function in matrixed international company (preferably American or Multinational Company) with complex reporting practices and with exposure to various reporting systems.

  • 2-3 years of experience leading teams
