General Summary

The Corporate Account Executive, Bio-Manufacturing Services is responsible for identifying leads, establishing targets and for driving sales to meet/exceed established revenue goals. Work with Operations and internal subject matter experts to gather client technical information to be used to develop solutions for client programs with the objective of compelling clients to partner with BBG in its mission to “save and enhance lives through the healing power of human cells and tissue”. This individual will be expected to identify new revenue opportunities through networking initiatives and client referrals and be able to develop effective sales proposals. Conducting Voice‐of‐Client activities through established or new feedback channels, in collaboration with the Marketing Department is also a required task.

Provide world class customer service by capturing and being responsive to the voice of the customer (internal or external, including donors for select positions) through multiple feedback channels in order to resolve issues and drive satisfaction in accordance with the BBG customer engagement, feedback, and complaint processes.

It is essential that the incumbent have a valid driver's license and be at least 18 years old with a good driving record to meet organization driving standards.

Major Duties and Responsibilities

Essential Tasks

Identify key decision makers relevant to GenCure’s business model for potential contact.

Establish new contacts with biotech/pharmaceutical companies focusing within assigned territory and facilitate meetings with technical teams and senior leadership as required.

Identify potential business prospects (leads) in assigned region across Pharma, Biotech, VC, Non-profits, research institutes, agricultural, and veterinary sciences.

Systematic reporting of sales related activities, meeting summaries as well as revenue forecasts.

Participate in and provide support for proposal writing with emphasis on consistency, quality and presentation to client.

Provide attentive and comprehensive customer service for ongoing and new customer relationships.

Participate in and provide support for marketing research activities.

Develop and expand on establishing a robust marketing database, identify and provide solutions for growth opportunities.

Provide market feedback to GenCure senior management.

Ensure effective representation for GenCure by attending, exhibiting, and speaking at various conferences and trade shows.

Develop and maintain timelines that meet assigned projects and goals, working constructively with internal business partners.

Ability to travel as required within the assigned territory to maintain customer relationship. Represent GenCure in an ethical, scientifically accurate and professional manner.

Performs other duties as assigned.

Education

Requires a Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university with major course work relative to the field of assignment.

Preferred majors are Biology or Life Sciences, Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or Management.

Licenses and/or Certifications

Valid United States Driver’s License

US Passport preferred

Experience

Requires five or more years of marketing or sales experience.

Requires demonstrated experience in interfacing with clients in a life science-based company.

Requires proven experience in Sales/Business Development.

Knowledge

Must maintain familiarity of regulatory/quality compliance, to include FDA, EU, ISO, GHM, cGMP, OSHA, AATB, AABB, FACT, etc.

Must have a demonstrated understanding of the cell & gene therapy supply chain landscape.

Must have or obtain a working knowledge of biological starting materials, infectious disease testing and biomanufacturing.

Must maintain knowledge of applicable industry standards.

Skills

Must demonstrate positive leadership skills.

Must be capable of performing, evaluating, and reporting on marketing analysis.

Must have outstanding negotiation and consultative sales skills.

Must have or obtain high level of proficiency using Client Relationship Management (CRM) software such as SalesForce as well as social media platforms, and other web‐based applications.

Must have excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

Must have strong interpersonal skills, with demonstrated experience in dealing with multiple clients for business development and/or fundraising.

Must be capable of operating motor vehicles in all types of weather conditions.

Must have excellent written and oral communication skills.

Must have excellent interpersonal and public speaking skills.

Working Environment

Works in well-lighted, air-conditioned and heated vehicle or office environments, but may work in confined spaces and non-climate-controlled conditions. May be exposed to electrical and chemical hazards and other conditions common to an office environment. May be required to work at any time of the day, evening or night during the week or weekend to include being on-call. Out of town and overnight stays required, up to 50% of the time. Ability to use personal motor vehicle for company business required.
