Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a Fullstack Java Developer to join one of our top financial banking clients. These individuals will be supporting new solution and joining the Fraud and Disputes department within the Bank division. This individual will play a crucial role in enhancing existing systems, ensuring smooth transitions from SOAP to REST, and maintaining robust applications. You will be migrating existing services from the older SOAP communication protocol to the more lightweight and flexible REST architecture.

Skills and Requirements

• 8+ years with Java programming experience (fullstack)

• 5+ years of front-end development experience using React, Redux, Javascript, HTML, CSS

• 5+ years of backend development experience using Spring Framework, Springboot, API

• Extensive experience and knowledge utilizing Spring Boot and Kafka in backend development creating REST API to define endpoints, handle requests, and manage data persistence

• Proficient experience utilizing Boot Strap in frontend development assisting in responsive designs and layouts tying in UI components

• Strong experience with Database connectivity using MySQL, PostgreSQL and Oracle

• Experience with cloud computing, cloud deployment and cloud readiness with OpenShift Platforms (ex: CloudMan)

• Experience performing SOAP to REST Migration/ Modernization - Experience working for a financial banking institution specifically in Fraud and Disputes departments null
