As an Accounts Receivable Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in our finance department by ensuring accurate and timely processing of accounts receivable transactions. Your responsibilities will include invoicing, monitoring customer accounts for timely payments, and resolving discrepancies. Responsibilities:

• Generate and send out invoices to customers accurately and in a timely manner.

• Monitor customer accounts for timely payments and follow up on overdue accounts.

• Investigate and resolve discrepancies in payments and invoices.

• Maintain accounts receivable records and reconcile discrepancies as needed.

• Generate aging reports and analyze customer payment trends.

• Collaborate with the sales and customer service teams to resolve billing issues.

• Prepare and process credit memos and refunds as necessary.

• Assist with month-end closing activities and account reconciliations.

• Contribute to process improvements and efficiency initiatives within the accounts receivable function.

  Requirements

Qualifications:

• Proven experience (2+ years) as an Accounts Receivable Specialist or similar role.

• Solid understanding of basic accounting principles and practices.

• Experience with ERP systems and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.

• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and analytical skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Associate’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
