Are you a Navy Auxiliaries or Main Propulsion Technician with an Active Secret clearance? Join us as our next Auxiliaries and Main Propulsion Technical Trainer supporting TMIT in San Diego, CA.
As anAuxiliaries and Main Propulsion Technical Trainer, you will:
Provide INSURV-focused support to COMNAVSURFPAC (CNSP) N44 for TYCOM Material Inspections (TMI), as Main Propulsion and Auxiliaries Technical Trainer

A week in the life of anAuxiliaries and Main Propulsion Technical Trainer:
Inspection and training of U.S. Navy ships crews and shipboard material conditionProvide support at both CNSP headquarters, and aboard U.S. Navy ships located in CONUS and OCONUS. process mirrors INSURV, and that TMIT personnel inspect to the same U.S. Navy standards as INSURV.
Work with a team of driven, supportive and highly skilled professionals.
Assist in developing and maintaining currency of the TMI policy, organization of shipboard Inspections, liaison with ships undergoing inspection, and providing standard processes and procedures consistent with Board of Inspection and Survey (INSURV) material inspection criteria.
Participate in shipboard TMIs and Readiness Inspections (READ-E), prepare and provide written assessments of material condition, crew knowledge, readiness as it pertains to propulsion systems, and auxiliary systems, in support of INSURV preparations and MI's conducted jointly with INSURV
Serve as liaison between CNSP and the waterfront Support Activities, for technical support in the conduct of inspections, and liaison with INSURV staff, to ensure that the TMI

Job Requirements
High School Diploma
Possess active secret security clearance.
Possess 25+ years of U.S. Navy experience.
Former E7-E9, Warrant Officer or Limited Duty Officer.
Must be a SME on US Navy shipboard systems and main propulsion systems
Must have recent CNSP N44 TMIT or INSURV experience within the last 2 years

Actual compensation will be determined based on several factors permitted by law.
