Job Overview

The camera software team is looking for a talented software engineer to tune camera ISP (Image & Signal Processing) and Auto-exposure, Auto-whitebalance, Auto-focus algorithms to achieve good image quality.

Responsibilities include the following:

Responsible for camera image quality tuning on various image sensors, on various Qualcomm ISP platforms. Candidate will evaluate the image quality from time to time to achieve the best image quality possible.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.

  • 2+ years Software Engineering or related work experience.

  • 2+ years experience with Programming Language such as C, C++, Java, Python, etc.

Preferred Qualifications

3+ years of experience in the following areas are preferred:

  • ISP algorithms and designs, auto-whitebalance, auto-exposure, and auto-focus algorithms.

  • Image quality evaluation tools (e.g. IMATEST), usage of camera tuning equipment (e.g. lightbooths).

  • Software development for mobile or embedded platforms

  • Programming skills in C and C++ Object Oriented Programming experience

  • Multi-threaded programming experience

  • Prior camera tuning experience is a plus

  • Detail-oriented and enjoys photography

Education Requirements

Required: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.

Preferred: Master's, Computer Engineering and/or Computer Science and/or Electrical Engineering
