Type: Full time, part time, and/or per diem

Compensation: Starting $16.85-19/Hr

The Companion caregiver will provide assistance to patients living in an IN-HOME setting with daily living tasks, socialization, leisure, and recreation. We work with a variety of clients from children to elderly.

Duties and Responsibilities:

*Duties and Responsibilities varies on the case-by-case basis

• Be responsible for basic care services such as bathing, grooming and feeding, assisting staff with medical equipment, and checking on patients.

• Giving patients important social and emotional support.

• Maintains confidentiality of all client information, in accordance with HIPAA standards

• Safeguards the client/patient by observing appropriate infection control procedures including but not limited to universal precautions

• Notifies the office of any abnormal findings or conditions

• Adheres to Caregiver standards and procedures of the Company

• Represents the Company with a positive image at all times

• Demonstrates flexibility and adaptability in meeting the needs of all facilities

• Effectively communicates with the office staff, including availability to work

• Adheres to time and attendance policies

• Provides requirements-related information (Annual PPD, In-services, etc.) in a timely fashion; follows all other compliance standards at all times

Qualifications:

• At least one year working as a caregiver/nanny

• Current First Aid and CPR certification

• TB Test
