G2 Software Systems, Inc. (G2) is looking for an experienced Configuration Management Senior Specialist to assist the DoD Program Office in the management of the capability project portfolio in support of a DoD program.

Responsibilities:

• Configuration management issues associated with maintaining and controlling all hardware inventory, documentation, product releases, and software configuration management.
• Working closely with the Configuration Control Board in defining and implementing procedures for releasing new products throughout the entire life cycle.
• Providing change management and product configuration management guidance.
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree from an accredited four-year college or university; MBA preferred
• Minimum of ten (10) years of experience in Configuration management or combined ten (10) years of experience in two or more of the following areas: Configuration Management; Data Management; Managing cross functional teams; Oversee program execution; Analytical and problem solving related to configuration management; or TopVue or similar data management tools, i.e., DOORS, CMpro.
• US Citizenship and either currently hold or have the ability to obtain Secret Clearance.
• Defense Acquisition University Configuration Management training, a plus
• Institute of Configuration Management training, a plus

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
• Must be able to access and navigate each department at the assigned facility.

Location:

This is a full-time hybrid position. The workforce is required to report physically to the Client office located in San Diego, CA three times a week. Additional days at the office may be required from time to time as required to support the workload or clients request. Travel<10%

Compensation:

The pay range for this position in California is $100,000/year to $140,000/year; however, base pay offered may vary depending on established government contract wages, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience, and other factors. G2 Software Systems also offers a full range of medical, financial (401k and Employee Stock Ownership Program), and other benefits, dependent on the position offered. Base pay information is based on market location.
