Firmware Engineer, Hybrid 3x, San Diego or Cupertino

TEKsystems has an opening with a large technology customer as a Senior Firmware Engineer. You will be joining a small team of extraordinary engineers working on precision RF and Analog Test Equipment for use in calibrating and testing cellular, 5G, WiFi, BT, mmWave, UWB, and NFC radios in millions of devices. All members of the team bring their own unique expertise to collectively take internal products from concept to mass production.

The products are based on platforms that run RTOS, embedded Linux & bare metal FW on ARM-based processors.

You will work with other cross-functional team members – RF system engineers, SW engineers, DSP engineers, FPGA logic designers & HW engineers to design/develop embedded SW that is instrumental in creating products loved all over the globe.

Required:

• Experience designing embedded FW in C or C++

• Experience with ARM processors.

• Recent dev experience in one or more of the following areas: Linux, parallel processing, multi-core or multi-threaded SW development.

  Pluses:

• Experience developing FW for one or more of the following chip level interface standards is desirable: USB, SPI, I2C, UART, SDIO, PCIe.

• Experience developing FW for wireless communications standards.
