Warehouse Material Coordinator

Mon-Fri Day Shift $20/hr-$25/hr

Job Description

We are currently seeking an experienced Material Planning Coordinator to support our operations. The Material Planning Coordinator reports to the Material Control Supervisor and provides support to the material planning and control function. This position is responsible for the receipt, inspection, and storage of all material in accordance with company and government policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and store all materials according to company and government policies and procedures.

• Manage inventory control, including conducting cycle counts and ensuring accurate data entry.

• Handle and move materials using forklifts, pallet jacks, and dollies.

• Coordinate shipping and receiving activities.

• Utilize ERP systems for inventory management and warehouse packing.

• Ensure proper handling and storage of Government Furnished Material (GFM).

• Read and understand military specifications and drawings.

Essential Skills

• Basic warehouse skills, including heavy lifting, rigging, and movement of materials.

• Experience with inventory control, material handling, and inventory management.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic computer systems.

• Good written and verbal communication skills.

• US Citizenship is required.

• Ability to obtain a DBIDS credential.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with Government Furnished Material (GFM).

• Experience with government contracting warehouses.

• Forklift operation skills (internal certification available).

• Ability to read and understand military specifications and drawings.

Work Environment

Work will be performed at our warehouse within the yard. Hours are 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM, Monday through Friday.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of San Diego, California.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.75 - $25.73
