The Sensors team at Qualcomm develops leading edge, low power, embedded software solution to enable key mobile applications such as multimedia, navigation, compute, IoT, wearables, virtual reality, augmented reality, gaming, health, and smart user interface. We are responsible for industry leading “Always ON” software platform enabling fusion of various technologies such as Sensors, Audio, Location, Camera, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi for user and device context determination.

QUALCOMM, in continuing our long tradition of technology leadership and innovation, is looking for ambitious, bright, and innovative embedded software engineers who are interested in bringing the exciting sensors technology to the mobile device market.

You will be responsible for the design, development, integration, and commercialization of real time embedded Sensors software within a very dynamic group setting. You will also work with a cross-functional team of dedicated engineers in the exciting effort of deploying innovative features in various kinds of commercial devices.

Following skills-sets are highly desirable:

• Embedded software development in C/C++ Embedded real time operating systems

• Experience in Linux/Android/Windows operating system

• Experience with embedded software debug tools.

• Good understanding of software design and development process

• Excellent written and verbal skills

• Strong analytical skills and ability to work in a dynamic and fast paced team environment

• Sensors technology

• Understanding of Digital signal processing and Artificial Intelligence

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 4+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience.

OR

Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 3+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience.

OR

PhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 2+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience.

• 2+ years of work experience with Programming Language such as C, C++, Java, Python, etc.

Pay range:

$126,000.00 - $189,000.00

The above pay scale reflects the broad, minimum to maximum, pay scale for this job code for the location for which it has been posted. Even more importantly, please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Qualcomm. We also offer a competitive annual discretionary bonus program and opportunity for annual RSU grants (employees on sales-incentive plans are not eligible for our annual bonus).
