Description We are offering a contract employment opportunity for a meticulous and detail-oriented Jr. Paralegal in San Francisco, California. This role is crucial in our legal department where you will assist with client correspondences, draft legal documents, and maintain confidential client information. Your main duties will involve data entry, working with visa petitions, and other paralegal tasks.

Responsibilities:

• Drafting and sending out correspondences to clients, including emails and letters.

• Assisting in the completion of applications and petitions on behalf of clients.

• Compiling and summarizing data on the status of cases for reports.

• Collecting and maintaining confidential client contact information.

• Drafting legal documents detailing eligibility.

• Utilizing Microsoft Excel for data entry and organization.

• Applying knowledge of political and criminal justice in daily tasks.

• Processing and managing visa petitions and employment-based immigration applications. Requirements • Proficiency in Data Entry is essential

• Degree or coursework in Political Science or Criminal Justice is preferred

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel

• Familiarity with Visa and Visa Petitions processes

• Knowledge of Employment-Based Immigration processes

• Ability to work efficiently and accurately in a fast-paced environment

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information

• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
