As the first finance hire, this is an opportunity to lead, innovate, and build. Responsibilities :
Manage monthly reporting and NAV reconciliation processes.
Oversee accounting, performance reporting, and operations for investment funds and the management company.
Collaborate with investment, trading, and compliance teams to enhance portfolio monitoring, financial strategies, and internal policies.
Direct year-end tax accounting processes.
Lead compliance and operational responsibilities to ensure smooth business functions.

Requirements
Deep expertise in hedge funds, ideally in a startup environment.
Proven success in managing finance and operations within hedge funds.
Experience in compliance, reporting, and operations.
Familiarity with environmental commodities or markets is a big plus.
CPA preferred.
Tech savvy.
Proficiency in financial management tools and MS Excel.
Impeccable attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities.
A genuine passion for environmental and energy markets.
