(2) 3am-11am

(1) 8am-4pm

(2) 10a-6pm

(2) 4pm-12pm.

Job Description

Food Preparation: Cook and prepare food according to guidelines and recipes; engage with guests at action stations.

• Cooking Expertise: Understand preparation methods, cooking times, portion sizes, and evaluate food quality by tasting.

• Meat Preparation: Cut, trim, bone, and carve meats and poultry, using correct portions.

• Sanitation: Clean and sanitize work areas, equipment, and utensils; safely operate kitchen equipment.

• Workstation Management: Set up, break down, and maintain cleanliness and sanitation.

• Food Knowledge: Identify food products and ensure high quality.

• Food Safety: Store food at appropriate temperatures, complete daily temperature logs, and follow all food safety standards.

• PPE and Safety: Use appropriate PPE, report injuries immediately, and understand proper use and storage of chemicals.

• Support Tasks: Stock buffet, assist with deliveries and inventory, follow FIFO method, and remove trash.

• Additional Duties: Perform other duties as assigned.

Additional Skills & Qualifications• Minimum one year as a cook in the food service industry.

• Certifications: ** Must have a Food Handler's Card and obtain necessary certifications/licenses, including ServSafe.

• Food Safety Knowledge: Follow all food handling safety and hygiene requirements.

• Composure and Awareness: Maintain composure under pressure and awareness of surroundings and cultural differences; maintain a polished appearance.

• Physical Stamina: Stand for long hours, lift/move up to 40 pounds, and walk, bend, twist, and stand for job functions; handle stress of a fast-paced work shift up to ten hours.

• Availability: Flexible to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.

• Communication Skills: Good oral communication and multi-tasking abilities.

This is a fully on-site position in San Francisco, California.
