Description

We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for an FP& A Director (fully remote). This role is in the higher-ed industry where you will be tasked with overseeing budgeting, financial forecasting, and operating plans. You will also provide strategic financial consulting support to CFO and lead the company in strategic planning.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the development of budgeting, financial forecasting, and operating plans.

• Conduct strategic and tactical analysis to evaluate financial performance and profitability.

• Collaborate with key stakeholders to enhance financial planning processes and performance measures.

• Provide strategic financial consulting support to senior management, including preparing board presentations and financial presentations.

• Analyze new business opportunities and acquisitions.

• Lead the strategic planning of the company and execute these strategies through annual budgeting.

• Present and report the status and outcome of programs, investments, ROI, and projected performance to top management.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or master's degree in Finance, Accounting or related field.

• Significant experience in financial planning and analysis

• Strong analytical, strategic planning, and communication skills

• Proficient in FP& A software and mastery in Excel

• Extensive knowledge and experience in budgeting and forecasting.
