One of the world's best known audio companies is searching for a Live Event Technical Specialist to join their Experiential Marketing team in San Francisco, CA . In this role, you will be responsible for the planning and design of technical event systems including Audio, Video, HVAC, Lighting, Network/Internet, Live Sound, Wiring, and more!
This exciting opportunity to showcase your skills on some of the world's largest stages begins on a W2 contract that offers full benefits and the potential to extend or convert to permanent employment.
Please note, this is NOT an entry level role. The team is looking for candidates that have hands-on event production experience and technical knowledge of event set ups like concerts, festivals, and/or Rock and Roll tours.
Responsibilities:
Work with internal and external stakeholders to plan and design the technical aspects of live events
Support event systems including audio/video, lighting, HVAC, network/internet, live sound reinforcement, and power
Maintain the technological infrastructure of live events including all in-house inventory or A/V equipment and their required, regular updates/checks
Create and manage wiring and install diagrams for equipment, power, audio, video, and other cabling needs
Conduct pre-show testing of visual and audio content
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree required
5+ years of hands-on live event experience
Strong knowledge of professional and consumer A/V systems and their interconnectivity via hardware, cabling, connectors, signal converters, HVAC, networking, etc.
Technical familiarity with Mac OS , Windows , A/V file types , etc.
20% travel required
