Description We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for a Staff Accountant to join our team in San Francisco, California. The primary job function involves dealing with City and State grants and funding, and working extensively with the Grants. You will also be tasked with maintaining precise customer credit records, monitoring funds, and resolving customer inquiries.

Responsibilities:

• Manage City and State grants and funding effectively

• Engage intensively with grant proposals, grant reconciliations, and month-end close

• Maintain and update customer credit records with utmost accuracy

• Monitor incoming funds from the City of San Francisco

• Use Excel Formulas and Yardi Property Management system to handle tasks efficiently

• Process customer credit applications with precision and speed

• Address and resolve customer inquiries in a timely and detail oriented manner. Requirements • Candidate must have a minimum of 3 years experience as a Staff Accountant.

• Proficiency in Yardi Property Management software is required.

• Advanced knowledge of Excel Formulas is necessary.

• Experience in Grant Accounting is a must.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field is preferred.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are needed.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team is crucial.

• Keen attention to detail and high level of accuracy is expected.

• Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines is required.
