About the role
CBRE is seeking a CAD Operator with experience in MEP design, site survey, manufacturing or data center robotics-centric automation solutions. This client is committed to the successful implementation of autonomous and semi-autonomous vehicles throughout multiple datacenters. The Drafter will report to the Client-approved location:
- Hybrid in San Jose, CA
What you’ll do
Capacity Planning and Constraints Management technical operations services
Perform cable length calculations within AutoCAD following defined routing schemes
Escalate to senior team members as needed for advanced issues
Management of complex spreadsheets, including progress tracking and cable length data as appropriate
Perform analytics and problem solving relative to data center cable network planning and electrical power domains
Contribute to Networking team process improvement discussions on standards and procedures
Provide testing support for custom CAD applications
Provide an additional level of interaction and information sharing between internal client teams
Other duties as assigned.
What you’ll need
Bachelors degree or equivalent experience
2-5 years of relevant experience
Proficient in AutoCAD or Revit
PMP or LEED preferred

The minimum salary is $80,000 annually and the maximum salary is $110,000 annually. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience. Successful candidates will also be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on CBRE’s applicable benefit program.
