The Xbox Game Development Experiences (GDX) team is responsible for defining and delivering an industry leading developer experience and tools for the top game developers in the world on both PC and the Xbox consoles. We are looking for a strong Technical Program Manager who shares our passion for enabling developers to build amazing PC and Xbox games and wants to deliver features that developers will love.

Our ideal candidate is an experienced technical program manager with a passion for Gaming, Technology, Game Developers and Developer tools. This candidate is experienced at building great products, has the technical strength needed to engage with engineering organizations, has the customer focus needed to engage with and understand the unique Xbox developer community, and has the ability to partner with many different types of people.

Responsibilities

• Be at the heart of defining, organizing, and driving our features and strategy for future developer tools

• Collaborate with hardware and software engineers, design, marketing, 1PP & 3PP game studios, and other key contributors

• Manage and support feature crews in delivering high quality tools features on schedule

• Contribute to agenda and content for management project updates

• Own and drive the communication and action-item follow-ups resulting from any meetings

• Be a member of an organization that provides ample opportunity for growth

Qualifications

Qualifications

• 3+ years of industry experience in Technical Program Management of software development projects.

• Passion for game development and development tools.

• History of successful delivery on complex features and products.

• Experience successfully delivering features with cross-group dependencies and impact.

• Ability to work independently, escalating and informing as required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience building games, mods or apps for Console, Mobile or PC, particularly experience on a shipping game or mod

• Experience in software development.
