The Opportunity

Procter & Gamble is seeking an Application Manager to join our team. In this role, you will serve as a global application expert for our Financial & Purchasing Services & Solutions teams. You will create design of new solutions, support and improve current solutions, implement, troubleshooting, review/fix defects, and take solutions through to production while partnering with a 3rd party development team and business stakeholders within an Agile framework. We are looking for someone who can work under pressure to drive operational excellence for our global business leaders.

Position Responsibilities

• Collaboration with business partners and strategic vendors across the globe to design, build and qualify new capabilities.

• Integrate technical and functional capabilities in the SAP ecosystem to contribute to a balanced and optimized architecture.

• Deliver the daily work: incident resolution, continuous improvements, project support, compliance activities, etc.

• Ensure the functional solution requirements are properly translated to technical requirements as part of the projects.

• Communicate directly with 3rd party development team and business partners.

• Operational governance of SAP solutions to ensure they deliver maximum value.

• Meet controls, policies, and any compliance requirements.

• Participate as IT Lead on global projects.

• Drive proof of concept to confirm viability of a case.

• Provide consultancy and collaborate with 3rd level support teams for issue resolution in production.

• Work towards operational excellence

Job Qualifications

Required:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or similar field.

• Proficient functional abilities with SAP S4, SAP Finance, HANA, Fiori

• Functional knowledge with CDS Views, DSM/BRF+, ABAP, AIF

• Project Management skills and the ability to deliver under tight timelines

• SCRUM, Agile, DevOps knowledge

• Excellent problem-solving skills.

• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred:

• Prior experience working to support General Ledger and / or General Accounting.
