Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories Equipment Maintenance Associate Supervisor in San Luis Potosi, Mexico

Purpose

Ensure the effective operation of the general services, facilities and buildings of SEL México based on the standards, technical parameters and objectives of the maintenance system as well as the requirements and legal guidelines established to maintain the conditions operating capacity of the equipment and facilities of each workplace and the performance of user functions.

Roles and Responsibilities

  1. Manage the proper execution of preventive and corrective maintenance of the Global Center of Excellence (Facilities, General Services and building) to achieve global efficiency of the equipment and decrease operating costs for maintenance.

  2. Control the assistance and technical support services of external providers for the care of the maintenance of the general plant services equipment to maintain the operating conditions and the overall efficiency of the equipment.

  3. Implement improvement projects (new constructions, cost reduction, waste reduction, etc.), to help achieve the financial profitability of the business

  4. Control the work requirements derived from the requests issued by the users to achieve the correct levels of satisfaction of our Users.

  5. Maintain the operation of general services (network vs. fire, pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical network, hazardous and non-hazardous waste, etc.), to comply with regulations and the current legal framework.

  6. Monitor the proper operation of plant resources and facilities to maintain the operating conditions of each workplace and the performance of user functions in a comfortable environment.

  7. Execute planned inspections of critical general services equipment (chiller, substations, Natural gas station, etc.) to comply with current regulations, reducing risk and unsafe conditions for the work environment.

  8. Plan maintenance programs as well as the information required through the Prisma 3 system to generate information that helps analysis for decision making in process improvement.

  9. Identify, Measure and Improve infrastructure processes (general services and buildings) for the standardization and optimization of work practices

  10. Understand. Create. Simplify.

  11. Other duties as assigned

Requirements (Education/Experience/Training/Skills/Competencies)

Engineering in Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics or Industrial Engineering.
