What is the job about?

As an Associate Logistics Specialist, you will play a crucial role in Grundfos by providing support to the shipping operations team. Your key responsibilities will include handling logistical and administrative tasks, such as record-keeping, shipment tracking, and documentation management. You will work closely with the team to ensure all import and export activities run smoothly, from factory to distribution center. Through your attention to detail and organizational skills, you will assist the team to optimize their operations and meet our commitments to customer satisfaction.

This position reports directly to the Shipping Operations Leader America and will operate daily out of the San Luis Potosí, MX facility. Qualified candidates must have authorization to work in Mexico without support.

Your main responsibilities:

  • Shipment tracking and reporting

  • Delivery appointment scheduling

  • Import custom clearance processing, incl. creating paperwork for import

  • Export customs processing, incl. creating paperwork for export

  • Control and analysis of the KPI´s

  • Coordinate activities with internal and external areas to fulfill the delivery dates and customer service

  • Adherence to Record keeping and document retention initiatives as outlined by Regional Trade Compliance

Your background

We imagine that you have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Foreign Trade, International Trade, or Compliance-related field or equivalent experience

  • 1-3 years of relevant experience in logistics and transportation, import/export processes

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and Windows management

  • Familiarity with SAP is desirable but not required

  • Fluency in English, with a minimum level of 80% proficiency

  • Demonstrate significant knowledge in international trade regulations and compliance

  • Attention to details and effective organizational skills

  • Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
