Description

We are recruiting for an Accounts Payable Clerk role based in San Ramon, California. This position involves handling various accounts payable tasks in a professional setting and offers a contract to hire employment opportunity. The successful candidate will be tasked with coding, entering, verifying invoices, maintaining organized A/P files, and providing general administrative support.

Responsibilities:

• Coding, entering, and verifying invoices in alignment with company's payable system for approval and payment

• Sorting and processing Account Payable mail on a regular basis

• Ensuring all invoices processed for payment meet billing protocols

• Reviewing invoices and conducting follow-up in AP Software with precision

• Processing approved invoices and submitting them for payment in a timely manner

• Reconciling credit accounts and analyzing cash balances for each owner

• Setting up new vendors and maintaining records

• Tracking & collection of certificates of insurance and W-9 forms for owners and vendors

• Handling general administrative and clerical support including photocopying, scanning, faxing, sorting and mailing of documents

Requirements

• Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP)

• Experience in Check Runs

• Skilled in Coding Invoices

• Strong Data Entry abilities

• Familiarity with Invoice Processing

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
