HealthFitness Injury Prevention & Treatment Contract Manager in San Ramon, California

HealthFitness has a rare opportunity for a Contract Manager - Injury Prevention & Treatment. This key position manages and directs all operational aspects of the client ergonomic program in accordance with health fitness and client protocols, ensuring consistency among all locations in communications training marketing programs and services. In this position approximately 30% of the time is spent performing workstation of evaluations and 70% in administrative management. This position is hybrid and will work a 9/80 work schedule, in the office T/W/TH and work from home M/F with every other Friday off.

What you will be doing:

  • Acts as the main point of contact to assure ergonomic program practices align with business objectives and clients’ wellness vision.

  • Assists in the development and implementation of the yearly strategic business plan to identify contract deliverables program service offerings and initiative targeted outcomes and strategy to meet client objectives. Ensures contract compliance manages client relationship to ensure that high customer satisfaction is maintained, and HealthFitness value is reinforced and assist with contract renewal efforts. Assist contract liaison in managing operating budget and controlling costs ensures expenditures are made in accordance with applicable policies and procedures provides periodic budget reviews alignments and recommendations for key spend.

  • Participates in the development of outcomes and metrics focused programs to meet client objectives interfaces with client health and productivity management as appropriate to assess clients’ needs and identify health fitness programming solutions.

  • Conducts periodic site visits with the ergonomic evaluators to ensure overall quality control.

  • Ensures all program activities are aligned and delivered in accordance with client and health fitness operational quality safety and service standards.

  • Manages the collection of participant and program data for measurement of individual and program metrics achieved outcomes and results creates outcomes focused management reports based on the identified business plan goals and objectives.

  • Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with HealthFitness policies, procedures and applicable laws including recruiting, hiring, orienting, training, evaluating, developing, and planning the succession of associates. Approves and or submits employment forms, payroll records and billing worksheets accurately and according to contract provisions and HealthFitness policies. Ensures expense payment processes are functioning correctly.

  • Leads regular manager meetings and attends group staff meetings at each location to ensure associates are informed about health fitness client and program events initiatives and status assist site staff in networking and peer interaction efforts.

  • Provides instruction to the team and corrective measures self-management techniques and exercise to resolve and prevent discomfort. Ensures all evaluations and follow-ups are documented in appropriate software tool and participant record and reports are disseminated to appropriate individuals. Provides instruction in recommended ergonomic equipment and supplies appropriate for participants and advisors in procurement.

  • Ensures maintenance of participant records including content accuracy completeness and communication.

  • Other duties as needed/assigned.

What you will bring with:

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field or combination of certifications, experience and education.

  • 5+ years program management and staff supervisory experience.

  • Basic understanding of office space ergonomics and musculoskeletal awareness

  • Current OSHA compliant Adult CPR/AED/FA certification from American Red Cross, American Heart Association, American Safety & Health Institute or National Safety Council or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire required.

  • Strong leadership, team management, interpersonal and customer service skills including the ability to motivate others.

  • Ability to effectively organize and prioritize work demands.

  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instruction and procedure manuals, write reports and business correspondence.

  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of client's customers and employees.

  • Ability to calculate figures for data analysis productivity reports and apply concepts of basic physics algebra and geometry.

  • Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office programs including at minimum Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Teams.

  • Ability to work effectively with all levels of individuals both within health fitness and client.

  • Valid driver's license.

  • Ability to travel 25-30%.

  • Certified or certification eligible in ergonomics preferred.

  • Ability to manage staff in a remote capacity a plus.

  • Accredited personal training certification a plus.

Compensation: $80K/Year - $91K/Year. Pay is dependent on experience and qualifications.
