Cardinal Staffing Services is immediately hiring for Entry-Level R&D Lab Techs in Sandusky, OH. As a lab tech, you will work with a leader in customer-focused manufacturing of liquid colorants.
Qualifications:
- Laboratory or manufacturing experience helpful, but not required
- High school diploma or equivalent required; basic math, reading, writing, and computer skills
- Willingness to comply with all safety guidelines
- Acceptable color vision, physically capable of manual labor and work 8-hour shifts
- Reliable and punctual with a positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team
Job Duties:
Assist laboratory personnel by preparing sample batches, performing quality tests, and conducting formulation trials, including visual and numeric color matching.
Use logic and reasoning to identify and apply necessary adjustments on products and samples.
Safely perform hands-on lab work to verify formulations and specifications utilizing equipment and processes including, but not limited to:
Particle dispersion by media milling and high-speed mixing
Particle size analysis
Color spectroscopy
