About the Role:

Carrier is looking for an experienced SAP Fico Central Finance Specialist to join our Finance team. In this new role, the candidate will be a key member of the Central Finance implementation team. Other responsibilities include operational support of current Central Finance S/4 environment which includes Central Finance, Central Payables, and Master Data Governance.

Main Responsibilities:

• Execute projects in accordance with Carrier IT’s methodologies and governance model, collaborating with other IT teams to ensure solution designs are well coordinated and aligned to the overall ERP enterprise architecture.

• Configure Finance module to achieve business goals, including integration points with other SAP modules or other applications, following SAP standard methodologies and Carrier templates.

• Map key financial components from ERP source to CFIN target system.

• Prepare functional specifications for custom developments and collaborate with the development team to get those built and tested.

• Participate in project cutover activities including preparation and reconciliation of initial load templates.

• Execute and support business thru integration test case execution and reconciliation to target. Partner with ERP source teams to resolve defects and reconciling items.

• Collaborate with production support teams to ensure prioritization of support tickets, and AIF error resolution thru steady state providing recommendations for improvement.

Qualifications:

3 - 7 years of previous experience:

• Deploying and supporting SAP Central Finance (CFIN) and S/4 HANA environments.

• Expertise in configuration and implementation of both Financial Accounting (FI), Managerial Accounting (CO), and Central Finance (CFIN); understanding of integration with other SAP modules in S/4 and ECC environments.

• Understanding of Corporate Finance Processes supported by Central Finance such as central payments, open item management, credit management, and shared services.

• The ability to excel in a global team environment, effectively communicate and achieve results is critical.

• Highly motivated, self-directed, and able to effectively work with limited oversight.

Education:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field preferred.

• Practical in approach to problem solving and decision making.

Travel:

• You will be required to travel as is determined by the needs of our businesses. This position may require travel to business sites up to 25% of the time.
