Your Career

We are the WildFire Team in the Content Delivered Security Service (CDSS) organization. Our engineering and Security Research team is at the core of our products and deliver the best of security services in the cloud to prevent cyberattacks. We are constantly innovating and challenging the way we, and the whole industry, think about cybersecurity. Our engineers don't shy away from building products to solve problems no one has pursued before.

We are looking for a motivated Principal SRE to operate production services and applications in GCP cloud, while continuously improving application deployment, monitoring, operability and uptime of the services.

Your Impact

  • Work closely with R&D team to develop design and enhance software architecture to improve scalability, service reliability, cost, and performance

  • Build automated tools for cloud operations such as automated resource provisioning, remediation of known issues, auto-scaling, etc

  • Develop infrastructure-as-code which will be used to orchestrate production and dev environments

  • Improve and enhance CI/CD pipeline and automation process

  • Explore and research new technologies especially for CI/CD and continuous training (CT) for ML/AI systems to improve the ML/AI model release process

Your Experience

  • Expert level experience as a DevOps/SRE engineer with a passion for technology and strong motivation and responsibility for high reliability and service

  • High proficiency with Terraform and Ansible

  • Proficiency with cloud operations (GCP preferred)

  • Proficiency with CI/CD and Configuration Management (GitLab preferred)

  • Proficiency with programming languages (Python preferred)

  • Experience with MLOps is a big plus

  • Ability to operate independently, make decisions, take action and take responsibility

  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work and coordinate between multiple cross-functional and international teams

  • Hands on and can-do attitude, willing to learn new technologies

  • BS / MS in computer science/engineering, or equivalent experience

The compensation offered for this position will depend on qualifications, experience, and work location. For candidates who receive an offer at the posted level, the starting base salary (for non-sales roles) or base salary + commission target (for sales/commissioned roles) is expected to be between $170,000/yr to $225,000/yr.
